Current situation
Amazon Giveaway is a very new feature in Amazon, silently being build and published in the last few years. Till now the team has generally either decided to do things on gut decisions or based on multi-variant tests.
Neither the whole experience nor its parts had been run through qualitative tests.
As the team wanted to migrate to a new framework, they wanted to approach some low hanging UX issues.
Defining the main user flows
I started reviewing which customer flows are the most relevant.
For this I met with the team and the former designer working on the feature.
It quickly showed that there were only three major flows to consider.
